Interesting SPFH proteins! And yeah, there are many putative Prohibitins between the inner and outer mito membranes, which @florentwaltz.bsky.social averaged (see the paper). He also tried averaging those lightbulbs but didn't get much — They seem to be heterogeneous. Another #TeamTomo mystery 🕵️🔬⁉️ 🧪
