East Germany produces 50% of Germany's EVs - although it employs only 10% of Germany's automotive workforce (OEMs, suppliers). The region would be particularly affected by a weakening of EV targets (loss of 10,000 jobs) or could benefit from a stronger EV push (+9-11,000 jobs).
