This is a coup attempt. This is an intimidation tactic. This is not the time to play nice because the other side is playing to hold power forever. They aren't worried about reelections because if we do not help stop them now, there won't be future elections.

The Senators who are in lock step with these actions aren't worried about their constituents or the consequences of their actions. They're playing to win - to install a form of Christian nationalism rooted deeply in white supremacy. The consequences will be deadly.
