The microwave has started turning on whenever you open it. I'm no engineer but I'm pretty sure that's the opposite of how it's supposed to work. 12yo calling it "the murderwave" now.

My work software has introduced an AI assistant that likes to let me know when it’s taken initiative to draft things up for me. Pretty sure I’m supposed to be thrilled but my actual response is more like “Nobody asked you to do that you creepy little hobgoblin”

Went to pick my kids up from school and their teacher came out, which everyone knows means Something Happened that day, but turns out she just wanted to say that she'd been asking the kids for examples of handsome famous people for a lesson on comparative adjectives and my 9yo said "Colin Firth"

Just started "The Owl and the Nightingale" last night and so far I am very much Team Owl. She was just minding her business and the nightingale landed on a branch and was like "your home is so filthy your kids basically sit in excrement up to their chins. And you're ugly."
