If Target sold a "Fuck ICE" t-shirt, I'd go buy a couple today.

Who wants to spend their time fact-checking when spreading demonstrably false propaganda is so profitable?

"On the faculty" often means an adjunct hired to teach a single course, which provides absolutely ZERO first-hand experience into how higher education functions or how full-time faculty should be managed.

As someone who's served on several dozen faculty hiring committees, this is beyond stupid. It's imbecilic. It could have only been written by someone who has absolutely zero clue how academia actually works and is relying solely on first principles (none of which actually hold up in practice).

This is a November 20, 1938 page from the NY Times reporting quite graphically on Kristallnacht (the Night of Broken Glass), which was a major upshift in the ongoing harassment of Jews in Germany.

These photos are from the Auschwitz exhibit currently at the Cincinnati Museum Center.

Here's a May 1945 page from Life magazine on the atrocities at Auschwitz. While the story quotes US politicians, I doubt the editors at Life waited to get permission from the US administration itself to publish these stories.
