Overused meme of "Spirit Halloween" costume package. This one features the one and only Chuck Rainey, smiling and holding a bass guitar. The costume package reads:

STEELY DAN
SESSION MUSICIAN

INCLUDES:
Slapping experience

Hummed parts
Partition

A meme featuring two illustrated characters having a conversation in a living room:

A man in a yellow sweater (the father) is smiling and speaking to a younger man in a blue hoodie (the guest). The father's speech bubble reads: "So my daughter tells me you're from Annandale."

The guest responds with a speech bubble that says: "Actually, I'm from Barrytown."

The father's next speech bubble reads: "You have exactly 10 seconds to get the fuck out of my house."

The meme is a humorous nod to Steely Dan fans, referencing the song "Barrytown"

Great piece - but I take offense at reducing Bill Janovitz and Buffalo Tom to "familiar to My So-Called Life fans".

Yes, that was their zeitgeist moment, but BT was one of the best bands, if not the most popular, to come out of the late-80s Boston alternative scene. I will die on that hill :)
