U.S. taxpayers have spent $24 billion on Netanyahu's horrific war in Gaza. Instead of starving children, that money could pay for:

700,000 public housing units
500,000 low-income kids receiving health care
500,000 veterans receiving VA care
600,000 kids in Head Start

Combined.

We're the wealthiest nation on earth. We don’t need “austerity” or tax breaks for billionaires.

We need policies that benefit working families, not just the 1%.

NOW is the time to EXPAND health care, INVEST in public education and BUILD low-income and affordable housing.

The people who lost children and other loved ones in the Texas floods are owed honest answers from officials. They should be told why flash flood warnings issued hours earlier were not conveyed to people in the path of the water. They don’t need more prayers from politicians. They need answers.

For those bent on praying to support those in Central Texas, I humbly recommend you pray for the National Weather Service job cuts to be rescinded so they can be better prepared, and for FEMA not to be gutted especially during hurricane season and most of all, pray for Trumpism to be obliterated.

This 940-page reconciliation bill has a list of horrific provisions. One of the worst is a $211 billion tax break to the top 0.2% who inherit $30 million.

In this bill 16 million lose health care & hungry kids lose nutrition. Meanwhile, billionaires get much richer. Disgusting.
