AC is working and my house did not catch fire 🥰 carpet is more dry but still working on it. I got the fan going, dehumidifier running, and hopefully we'll get some sunshine coming through the window soon 🤞

Looks like we have 90%+ humidity tomorrow. And warm. The weather is almost always swampy like this every time we host. I just need to accept the imperfections and not fret that everything isn't pristine. It does break my heart that it's warm on Halloween and Christmas tho

Nothing caught on fire after round 2 of whatever the heck that was. I got my windows open to air out all this smell. Carpet is still wet. Closet is still dry. Hopefully AC guy will be done soon.

My AC unit is leaking water and some has drifted to my office carpet. Thankfully none got into the closet but it's cleared out just in case. I'm pretty sure this is recent so hopefully no damage.

I've been thinking a lot about this very sweet bun with blueberries that I ate while in NYC. It's from a bakery in the Brooklyn Chinatown area. Pretty sure it's Xin Fa Bakery. It's one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted.
