Since Nicko McBrain (🥁) retired from touring with Iron Maiden, I've been listening to his inaugural album with them: Piece of Mind (1983); a lot and damn it brings back a lot of good memories!
Dad got it for me and my brother as one of our Christmas gifts in the mid 2000s

Just had a really nice time practicing guitar, feels SO GOOD playing songs way better than I did, like, forever ago. Also been trying out a lot of different picks, this time from a Dunlop variety pack (shred) despite not being able to shred yet

Just hit the Dark World in my ALTTP (GBA) playthrough, and I come here to say that hearing nothing but windy whirring as Sahasrahla tells you what's up and then the Dark World theme kicking in still gets me hyped up without fail lmfao
