In 25 we came out of a medium intense El Niño, which normally means average temperatures to drop pretty significantly.

So when average temperatures didn't drop, everyone was not happy 😂. They did eventually drop but 25 is much closer to 23/24 than we'd expect for a La Niña/ post El Niño year. 😅🫣

PS: as this is a repost, the whole series is already out, you can find all days via the pinned post in my profile, if you want to verify, that this is an actual real post about how we messed up (considering we're still in the natural variability part of the series repost) 😂😃

I am running a Climate Advent calendar (repost) and the last day will be all about "hope"
For this I am looking for people in the Climate Science/Communication sphere who can give me a small quote I could use in this post.

If you want to participate, send me a quick DM.

Reposts are appreciated. ❤️

Against all odds I'm still mostly going by he/him, but won't be mad at they/them.
Same with neo pronouns. Most of these are fine and if you need more people to use these on, so you get used to them, I'm not mad at that :)

She/her is an absolute stretch and right now not something I identify with :)
