I must acknowledge this loss because Gaiman's work did have a profound effect on me.

I hate when people say you should separate the art from the artist. David Lynch managed to communicate the complex, horrific, and surreal aspects of being human without taking it out on others.

I'm mourning the death of two great artists, David Lynch and Neil Gaiman. While one has really passed on, the other is DEAD to me.
