I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

I'm guessing literally everyone was already doing this though and I'm a big dummy that took nearly 13 years to figure that out. It's also nice that I don't have sit there for ages every time I make a lil oopsie and need to redo a video.

You know what's helped me get my encode times down from like, 20-30 minutes to according to this video I just encoded, just a hare over 3 minutes? Doing your credits in a separate sequence, encoding that while you edit, and then importing the clip and tacking it onto the end of the video.

I got one of those discrete magnetic chest mounts for my GoPro but there's a liiiiiiilte problem. I guess I'm gonna have to braid up whenever filming from now on because trying to wear it lower turned the GoPro into the jigglecam
