I have loved computers since my Timex Sinclair 1000 in 1982. Then my #C64 that I got for Xmas in 1983, which I still use. #Commodore64 #Commodore #RetroComputing #retrogaming #retrogames
Last time I was in Canada was for World of Commodore 2022 in Dec 2022. Paid for everything on a card so didn't bring home any change. Do you know about when Canada did that.

Do you think they are really going to stop making pennies.

😂I have to make a call like that EVER year to the company that picks up my trash. I pay the whole year in advance to get a much better price. Every year they send me the bill where it's been raised to well over $300. I call them & say I want to cancel that I'm switching companies. They lower to $200

SWEET!!! It is such a GREAT CRT monitor. I use two of the 1902 CRT monitors with my C128DCR. Great for the new games that can use dual screen like EOTG and Attack of the PETSCII robots.

It is a GREAT 8-bit computer, and I LOVE the ones I have in my commodore collection. The C128DCR is an AMAZING thing of beauty.

Yes I LOVE Infocom games. It’s my 2nd best collection.

No hamsters were harmed in the making of this video! 🤪

I have always LOVED space games / space 4X games. This one was so good for its time.

Thank you for those kind words. I feel it is most defiantly the BEST room in the house.
December 8, 2025 at 6:07 PM
Probably not. They are all NTSC 15KHz monitors.

I was thinking the same exact thing. I have a box of 8 of them under my kitchen sink. Mine are the ones with the Mr. Clean name brand on them.

Could I not use my 1084s, 1084Ss, 1902s & 1902As that all have a RGBi input. I can use all 8 of these CRT with my real Amiga 1200.

My setup is item for item that were in a YT by Adrian‘s digital basement that was a list of things you need to start 8-bit repairs.
December 7, 2025 at 8:41 PM
Do you use the C64 KB and video outputs while in Amiga mode or do you attach a modern KB and a RGBi CRT monitor to the Turbo Chameleon. Do you remember what the TC cost and is it still being made.
December 7, 2025 at 8:37 PM
They have made several games in the last few years that actually use both the C128s video outputs at the same time. The VIC-II chip for 40 column and the VDC chip for 80 column. So games like EOTB & Attack of the PETSCII robots use both screens having the game map always up on one screen.

The COVID-19 lockdown, up to a year in some areas gave so MANY so much time on their hands. They found nostalgia on YouTube in the retro computers of their youth, and then went to eBay to bring back that nostalgia. Prices went up so fast and so high during the lockdown.

SAME!!!
December 7, 2025 at 5:57 PM
TY I will go give it a look see right now.
December 7, 2025 at 3:08 PM
NICE!!! That one is called the Starlight Edition. I like the name you gave your C64 😂 What board is in it. Do you make games or development other things.
December 7, 2025 at 3:06 PM
What is your FPGA. Is it one of the ones with cores for MANY of the retro 8-bit computers.
December 7, 2025 at 2:59 PM
I use to watch his repair videos all the time. Along with Adrian from Adrians digital basement, Neil from RMC, Wolfgang from Retro is the new black, Jan Beta & Noel’s Retro Lab. I loved their retro computer repairs so much that I bought this setup even though had never soldered before.
December 7, 2025 at 2:57 PM
Which of the 3 models did you have in the cart. Yah I see why you’d not spent that much if no space to keep it out on display. Do you play C64 games using emulation like VICE.
December 7, 2025 at 2:42 PM
Which model of new C64U did you buy. If you’re getting yours also for Xmas it has to be the BASIC beige or Starlight Edition. Do you have any retro computers.
