History isn’t just about who was in power, it is also about who were the people. If our focus is solely on who was at the top and what was happening in the palaces, stately homes and Houses of Parliament, we miss the stories of everyone else. And ‘everyone else’ was the majority of the population.

I can’t begin to explain how much I hate the term ‘filler’.

Especially when people berate a show for having ‘filler episodes’ and then you time travel a couple of years and the same people are berating actors for not engaging with “THIS IMPORTANT LORE” (the exact same story)

1: Gunn never promised anything of that nature. Blame Media Narratives & your own expectations.

I think recently there’s been a bit of a re-evaluation of it, but the 2005 Hitchhikers Guide movie.

So many “this isn’t exactly like…” that’s the point! - Douglas loved adding new bits every time they jumped medium.

And it’s just a fun 00s ride with peak UK/US talent.
