So we are going to be on the merit system on who gets care for a mom during pregnancy and who doesn’t. Merit=rich and/or white.

The best way to cut government spending is to not know what anybody does and just fire them or programs. Then use any savings to help the rich get richer. I believe this will be the biggest wealth grab in the history of the gov’t. Musk and his companies are going to profit immeasurably.

I wish it mattered that a bunch of republican lawmakers say the freeze on social programs is “good governance”, “application of commonsense”. Etc. then a day or two later they rescind the freeze without an apology or. Any repercussions.

I read this and I agree. History has shown anyone putting people/families into camps is horrible.

The President-elect says he can’t be weighed down by a debt limit it shows the priorities. I guess he wants to add huge amounts of debt. He did that in his first term too.

As Trump and his surrogates have stated many times we are two months away from the start of “pain for us Americans”. There is pretty broad consensus that the folks who voted for republicans want a dictator in power. We will see how close the republicans can get within’ the “guard rails” of gov’t.
