Been growing out a summer mullet that might stick around through fall, but I'm bad at taking pictures of myself so this is the first evidence that it looks good!

From the eyes down, a stereotype of a new Englander, in a blue LLBean thick flannel shirt, stands at a microphone during a poetry reading. Atop his head is a curly mullet that has the shape of a horse's mane.

I am trying to write a paper but all I want to do is read poems and feel nostalgic for having the drive and energy to attend every reading I could hear about.

There is a pile of gravel and stone dust in my driveway that's a physical taunt of my overestimation for a weeks worth of labor. It is going to be two years old before I finish moving it.

“Enshittification” was a term coined by Cory Doctorow, in 2022, to describe how the technologies that dominated our daily lives seemed to be all getting worse at the same time. Now, in a new book, he expands on the word that has become bleakly relevant.

You love to hear it. (Especially the week after the 20th anniversary of the poetry reading that I used to be on the staff of)

I was trying to think of an example joke from a straight man comedian I'd seen recently, but all I could think of was gianmarco, and the jokes were all jokes that fall into an acceptable but still ultimately no homo place.

AcademFic picked up a short story of mine, in which an evolutionary biologist ventures a novel hypothesis as to why nobody sees ghosts anymore. Give it a look!

Sounds like you should read this story to find out 😏

It makes total sense. Go to the clinic. Get tested. Get treated if you’re positive.

After all, no one wants to be host to that parasite, do they?

I would appreciate these if it was like DVDs, or those megsman legacy collections where it's already a cheaper game, it has an easy selector, then there's some bonus features.
But alas not the Nintendo switch way.
