Also strangely after Farrells death they announce this? what I can see they are trying to eradicate the most interesting aspect of the building.

Why is the Sandringham memorial garden in Hyde park still closed? They have as a count 4-5 lights installed ages ago regarding the upgraded heritage lighting. It’s been closed since January and my dog desperately wants to paddle in the pool! @cityofsydney

77 Marsh Wall London. A new application for a tower on the Isle of Dogs near Canary Wharf by Patel Taylor who still seem to think random cladding looks good. Urghh. development.towerhamlets.gov.uk/online-appli....

Hmm I will have a listen tomorrow and tell you what I think. The first soundtrack by Daft Punk was incredible, groundbreaking and beautifully composed. I have listened to few tracks from this album and wasn’t particularly impressed. Just sounds like NIN and I’m not a massive fan.

Rather curious development in Camden London. A huge film studio and residential by Yoo. The residential needs work. res.cloudinary.com/commonplace-...

Now we have tornados in NSW. 😳

There’s something to be said for a corner. Often forgotten in residential architecture. Which is a pity. www.architectsjournal.co.uk/news/stallan...

Honestly to appease the nimby's in the street. Get rid of the car park add '‘Victorian-inspired’ balcony balustrades and add a wall....because obviously Benedict Cumberbatch ( local apparently ) is very angry and must be appeased.

Classical buildings are repetitive by design and building them would have literally been a kit of pre made parts. 361 Broadway (cast iron) and the Bayard-Condict building (terracotta)

Now that’s what I like to see… finally! Last nights rain was torrential again. But we may finally see the end of it from today.

This is very sad. While some may not like the architecture this building was badly maintained at Canary Wharf. It just needs a refurbishment internally. Not ripping everything off. Theres a lot of detail in this building which will all go. development.towerhamlets.gov.uk/online-appli...

Sometimes you just wish that the CIty would force developers to use classical architects to design buildings in sensitive historic area's. This looks a bit naff. First image is the existing proposal, second image is the new one. morleyhousedevelopment.co.uk#proposals
