Almost 4 years to go. The interesting bit is the swap from Labour to Green and the static Lib Dem vote. As greens are seen to be worth supporting, that swap may well accelerate

True! They are not a high quality pollster. However, it does put Greens in the conversation. As that happens this level of polling will become more common. Greens have always suffered from 'I won't vote Green because nobody else does". That is changing rapidly

It's not the only ambition, but it's a bloody good step one

Too hypothetical. If the trajectory carries on as it is, Labour won't be featuring

Don't threaten us with a good time, Daily Express.
Image featuring a graphic from the Bradford District Green Party. The background is green with the Daily Express logo in the upper left and a photo of Zack Polanski speaking into a microphone on the right, holding a cartoon-style bundle of cash with a pound sign. Below, a mocked-up newspaper headline reads: “Zack Polanski wants to redistribute our money and turn Britain into a Left-wing haven.” At the bottom, the Green Party logo and web address Join.greenparty.org.uk are displayed.

Why would the Tory leader want to get rid of a degree which helps students to critically analyse written texts? Oh, I see....

Polsci talks a lot about the (often imperfect) relationship between 'descriptive' and 'substantive' representation (crudely, the link between ethnic minority presence in institutions & changes in their outputs/outcomes). It's stronger in parliament than our media, but here's @stephenkb.bsky.social

That's 50% bigger just in England & Wales than the Lib Dems have across the whole country

A bit brutal, but you handled this well. Kept your nerve and got your own message out, without getting drawn into what he wanted you to say. Can't imagine it was fun, though!

So unless women are entirely defined by possession of ovaries at birth, then your men/women statement is scientifically false
chcookley.bsky.social
Writing it in capitals doesn't make it any more convincing. It's just an empty slogan. The only aspect of biological sex that is almost universally binary is possession of ovaries or testes. Every other aspect is not specifically male or female.
chcookley.bsky.social
Who's saying that? Why are you saying women can't be women unless they fit your straitjacket definition?

I'm a proud Britian. I hope Kemi's not chosen me as the loser

Or do you mean repression of protest? Cutting winter fuel allowance? Raising NI contributions, rather than capital gains tax? Reopening North Sea oil contracts? Supporting developers to build unaffordable houses on Green belt land?

Certainly not any of those
chcookley.bsky.social
So, which Labour policies are they mirroring? Wealth taxes? Council house building? Rent caps? Water renationalisation? Opposition to arms for a Genocide? Removal of all negative union legislation enacted since 1979? Safe route immigration policy? Environmental protection within planning?

A lot of centrists joined politics with the best of intentions - in many cases they rightly saw themselves as the good guys. As their politics has moved into the billionaires' pockets, they still see themselves as the good guys and are confused why nobody else does - political cognitive dissonance

The Greens requested an interview on the Laura Kuenssberg Show with Zack Polanski when he was elected leader, but were denied, with a promise to interview him during Green conference instead.

This was then scrapped citing the Manchester synagogue attack. Polanski is both Jewish and from Manchester
