A timely reminder: The terrifying rise of racism in modern Britain

The defeat of fascism was our nation’s triumph, so what has caused such a drastic shift in the modern era?

Fox reports that that while many of the redactions to the Epstein Files were made to protect victims’ identities, “the same redaction standards were applied to politically exposed individuals and government officials.”

In other words, DOJ admits that they edited Trump and his pals out.

We must operate under the assumption that EVERY redaction is a detailed account of Trump raping children. It's the only reasonable conclusion until he proves otherwise.

The FBI put a thousand agents (their own words) on trying to hide all the links between Trump and Epstein. They failed. When people found some additional photos of Trump in the release, the DOJ promptly DELETED THEM FROM THE DOCUMENT RELEASE.

Available to download Friday, some Epstein files no longer there Saturday afternoon
An NPR analysis of the Epstein files shows some documents, originally available on Friday, are no longer on the Department of Justice's "Epstein Library" website as the DOJ releases more files.

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

Mandatory ID is effectively the state giving you a license to exist.

It also means they have the right to take that away.

The state does not have that right. Do not allow them to assume that right.

I firmly oppose the government’s plans for compulsory digital ID cards.

This is an affront to our civil liberties, and will make the lives of minorities even more difficult and dangerous.

It is excessive state interference — and must be resisted.

This is all about Palantir surveillance. Its the behaviour of a fascist police state to track and monitor everything you do. They are using fear of immigrants to manufacture consent.
BREAKING: Digital ID is to be made law for all adults in a screeching U-turn from the Labour Government

The UK fired their ambassador to the US over his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Meanwhile, Epstein’s best friend remains the President of the United States.

Douglas Carswell has skirted the line and now he's crossed it.

This is disgusting racism from a former MP who now demonstrates who and what he is.

I am sickened by the relentless demonisation of refugees.

No refugee underfunded a school.

No refugee closed a hospital.

No refugee took away support from the sick and disabled.

We need solutions not scapegoats. Stop blaming refugees and tax the rich instead!

An excellent point by @zoejardiniere.bsky.social: the asylum seekers in hotels are here legally - that’s why they are given accommodation if they need it - yet they can’t legally work, contrary to what most UK citizens want. That’s one reason they can’t pay for their own accommodation.
This whole summer only one story has dominated our entire politics & it comes down to literally 30,000 people in hotels. Ridiculous.

The government needs to get a GRIP it’s pathetic.
