We’ve had it bad at our house. Four of us miserably sick for a full week and still lingering, if a little better. Two of us had the flu vaccine and two didn’t. Doesn’t seem to be much difference.

We’ve (four grown kids + grandkids) done that a few times before and I’m perfectly fine with it, but the day itself never fails to feel very strange.

Most of the Mexican beers widely available in the U.S. benefit from a lime, IMO.

Those look a lot like a pair I had back in the late 70s, only those were bright red (and, oddly, marketed as “track shoes”).

Glad you’re at least on the mend. Injured rib muscles HURT a lot. They’re relatively small, so they can get sprained pretty easily.
