Indeed all I would do is stick my head out the hotel car lobby. Yesterday's wind-down was fascinating, first a 2-hour warning to Signal 8 (everyone start going home), and then actual Signal 8 (businesses shut down, mass transit at max frequency), and then Signal 10 (surface transit shut down)

I haven't imported anything during current regime but yes I'm told chargeable upon port entry. And I've seen at least one tariff invoice that was retroactively issued for a car imported after the effective date but wasn't charged at port for some reason

The employees who heard this talked with a smile and mentioned 'North Korea'
(North Korea) and 'Rocketman' (the nickname given by President Trump to Kim Jong-un in North Korea).
Mr. A wrote in the diary about the situation at that time, "I was angry because I felt like I was joking and playing with me, but I endured it in case something would go wrong with the documents."
