This nation is drowning in a political crisis we *cannot* escape fast enough unless we immediately abolish the Electoral College. Every year we delay, the system gets more distorted, unrepresentative, and dangerous. Democracy is slipping away! Critical, foundational change is the only path forward.

All I ever hear from friends who buy pets from breeders, oh the shelters don't have the breed I want. They're all pit bulls, or they have behavioral problems.🙄

They all have been through some trauma, just by going to a shelter. This means that they need us even more. Loving them heals many hurts.
