In the 70s, we all had to all read the same book. We had 30 days. I'd be finished on the 1st or 2nd night. Do the book report and wait. I went to the library every Sunday, loaded up. Read everything, Peyton Place, Nancy Drew, Hardy boys books.

The governments demand employees all work from the office 365 52 weeks a year. Take away the weekends, 4, 6 weeks vacation, less sick days, and holidays. Politicians say they work from their constituency offices.

My mom called bawling one day. I thought dad died. It was her dog. Fast forward 5 years, I had to euthanize my 17 year old dog, my baby. I bawled all the way home, an hour drive. Recently euthanized my 17 year old Siamese cat. Another tear fest, but this time, my veteran husband took her.

We follow US politics. It's actually broke up our family. We are Canadian. My adult son is MAGA. I'm waiting for that politician to be thrown out of the office. I recently canceled hotel reservations, and they called me to ask if it was because of Trump!?

My new kitten, I went away for a week. She is 8 months. Left her with my husband. After day 4, she became despondent. He called, saying she's sick. I said I bet she misses her mom. I was her first human after her mother. Sure enough, I come home. She bounced right back to normal.

A good friend received the shingles vaccine, sick for 2 weeks. But I still got it. I've seen too many people suffer with shingles. Nerve pain. There were no side effects.

I'm noticing this in my experience with customer service. It's unacceptable. Especially call center agents. I had to deal with a nasty manager at a cell phone company, MicMac Mall. I'm a senior and had to walk away from the 45 year old female bulldog. She was performing with witnesses. Disrespect

There will probably be a staff hiring freeze, attrition Staff retire, not replaced for six months. Look at the compensation budget. It's half of their budget. Staff make very good money, in par with Provincial, Federal.
