man i love air riders, but the y button being mapped to 3 different context-sensitive actions that can and do overlap with each other just feels so unbelievably bad and i'm surprised nobody during development thought it was an issue worth fixing.

people were not kidding about switch 2 tracking play time incorrectly, it's saying i first played the kirby air riders online test 10 hours ago when i haven't booted it up in over a month now

from what i played of the demo that switch 2 port of final fantasy 7 remake seems insanely good, like it's crazy how stunning it looks while managing to maintain a consistent 30fps. game is super enjoyable too, might have to pick it up on release.

i'm ngl if intermissions allowed you to play 2 laps of every track in the game (and maybe 3 for ktb) then i'd have less of a problem with them. like they'd still be a bit boring to drive on but at least there'd be a compromise by having more gameplay on the actual track.

p3r on switch 2 is a rushed port of a nearly 2-year-old game to a system with a small install-base relative to other platforms, and the cherry on top is that it's a game key card. to nobody's surprise, the game is not selling well.

persona 1 honestly isn't as poorly-aged as i expected, it definitely has a lot of flaws but it's far from the dumpster-fire of a game people make it out to be. if atlus ever remake it, i hope they expand on the grid-based combat system instead of removing it in favour of the 1-more system.

the funny part about this isn't even just the shameless plug, it's the fact that instead of giving me money like you'd expect he just hit me with his sword and left.

spent today learning blockbench since I want to start making low-poly models and as great as blender is, it isn't really the right tool for the job. ended up making this since I've had sonic on the brain lately, the shadow icon is also custom-made by me and made to fit the genesis artstyle.

i think it'd be nice if crossworlds had rank skipping of some kind, it feels like i'm outperforming pretty much everyone at d-rank as well as the few c-rank players i've run into so far. if i'm getting 1st place consistently i need to be in a higher rank 😭

seeing people fall off the purple path on kronos island online is very funny, i'm working my way out of low rank rn and i swear i see at least one person per lap just drive straight to their demise
