even i get confused when i switch to another vehicle while trying to get rid of a copy ability, imagine how a casual with less game sense would feel, they might not even understand how or why that happened.

it's a really unfortunate blemish on an otherwise amazing game.

i commend the 2-button layout in theory as it makes the game more accessible on an input level, but in an ironic twist of fate it actually ends up making the game less accessible mechanically because you have less control over what your character does.

wanna discard a copy ability? better hope you don't get within range of a vehicle you can swap to, better hope your special doesn't suddenly reach full charge.

there are times where i don't even know what will happen when i press the y button in a given situation, and that's just bad design tbh.

im being serious when i say the 15 seconds of new mario movie footage was the most joy i felt watching it

i do think them improving intermission layouts is a bit fake though, like sure they're not hold a simulators now which is neat but they're still just not that compelling, especially in a game where the bar for a compelling track has been raised significantly with the addition of parkour mechanics.

nah probably won't be able to get it for a while yet, definitely gonna pick it up eventually though

because cartridges are many times more expensive to use than game key cards and game freak (i'm assuming this was their decision) like to keep costs low. i don't really blame developers for using game key cards tbh, nintendo really need to offer cheaper cartridge options.

i knew city trial would be the main attraction but i was hoping to at least enjoy the racing mode too. i'm finding it a lot harder to justify getting the game now because as great as city trial is, it alone is not worth $70 to me.

if sega and atlus would take this as a lesson to stop constantly making the worst decisions imaginable when it comes to the switch 2, like they have been since the console launched, then that would be great.

i kinda doubt it unless this change somehow makes twitter a less addictive platform. besides the larger user-base, addictiveness is the big thing keeping a lot of people on twitter and i fear they've built up a pretty high tolerance for annoying bullshit over the years.
