Yesterday 9:10am 672-717-0269
the phone log says the call came from Merritt, BC I answered and for 48 seconds heard music without lyrics. I Googled the number and nothing relevant showed up.

It will honestly be fascinating to see how much the Trump Presidency and the Harding Administration will be similar…
History repeats.

In late February 1921, 2 weeks before taking office as POTUS, Warren Harding writes a letter to the richest man in America, William Randolph Hearst, thanking him for helping him win the presidency with favorable coverage in major newspapers he owned & begging for his advice.

This is precisely why authors and journalists are abandoning X (I’m building my following here and once it’s comparable I’m jumping). We use social media to push our writing. And Musk throttling it is an example of stupid management.
Elon admits that any post on X with a link is throttled

He advises you to upload content directly to X instead, where he can monetize it

Musk is the richest person in the world and his view is everyone should work for him for free

As it is snowing today I finally put up all the summer clothes and pulled out the sweaters. I also put a bunch of clothes in “donate”. There’s something about coming to a peace that we’re just not fitting in that ever again.

Remember- they say we’re “liberals” if we don’t redefine “traditional family values” to accept all this. Good to know
Trump just named Jared's father, Charles Kushner — who he pardoned in 2020 — to be Ambassador to France.

Kushner hatched a scheme involving a prostitute to entrap his brother-in-law and eventually pleaded guilty to tax evasion and making illegal campaign donations.

Remember, we were told voting for Trump was the ONLY morally justifiable choice a Christian could make….
Again, the charges are lacking without certain details: Kushner hired a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law, had it recorded, and sent the resulting tape to his sister.
"Mr. Kushner, 70, pleaded guilty in 2004 to 16 counts of tax evasion, a single count of retaliating against a federal witness and one of lying to the Federal Election Commission"
and so now he will be US ambassador to France

I mean her and her brother’s ignorant vapid made-for-TV “faith” sure. I’m positive both her and her brother will be donating all the proceeds they get from making bad media to the poor now.
Cut. It. Out.

The bigot billionaire Elon Musk is systematically targeting federal climate officials for harassment on X: at the International Development Finance Corporation, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Department of Energy, so far. They are all women.

Deeply embedded in MAGA supremacy is the belief that they have a right to behave in anti social ways that they then are excused from having any accountability or repercussions for.
I’ve noticed this, too.

What’s sad is we’re seeing the end already of Mohler and Walker’s pragmatism- utterly immoral and unfit persons being given unprecedented power because what unifies Trump’s Presidency isn’t ideological fidelity, it’s the immorality.
When I see immoral things done by Trump, I occasionally go and see what Albert Mohler and Andrew T. Walker of SBTS are saying on X because I know few academics who follow politics closely and daily support Trump. Their goal is U.S. law becoming more like Southern Baptist doctrine and by any means.

It’s the classic abuser playbook. “You have to stay in the spaces “we” control, engage in the ways “we” demand, allow us to redefine the words you use, because “we” feed on beating you up.”
- No one deserves engagement on any platform
The handwringing lectures about how the left has no choice but to stay on Twitter are even more ridiculous when you remember that the far right used a series of alternative media — from direct mail to talk radio to Fox News to Breitbart to Gab, Parler and Truth Social — as their path to victory.
