It's time for a resurgence in #Community Organization. If you have a common space where you live, a local library, a coffee shop - organize. Come together to show support for neighbors - Job search sessions, resume reviews, local food bank info, even a venting session. #StrongerTogether

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

Also spotted today, several pockets of National Guards standing around doing nothing. Since they are not needed or wanted here they should be able to go back home. To their lives and their families.

Stop the illegal occupation!

The United States Constitution has made an appearance at the seat of power again today. Oh we have missed you. #NoKings #constitution

More people coming into DC every minute. More will end up here today for #NoKings day than for the inauguration

If you are American and can't agree with these statements with your thoughts, your words, your actions - you are the problem.

Day 4 after Trump signed his big beautiful bill and the world turned upside down

Yes - America does still care about knowing how predators are getting access to children. Epstein and everyone in his orbit should continue to be investigated.
Wallace: “Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?” says the guy who’s still talking about his 2020 election loss.

Day 3 after Trump signed his big beautiful bill after the GOP pushed it through Congress

#Measles continues to make a comeback after being considered eliminated in America for years. A terribly horrific disease with lifelong consequences if children survive. #GOP does not care about children
The United States is reporting the highest number of measles cases in 33 years.

Vaccines prevent measles.

Americans need to hear our top health officials say clearly: every child in America should get vaccinated against this terrible disease.
The United States has recorded its highest annual measles cases in 33 years. The milestone marks a public health reversal in defeating a highly contagious, vaccine-preventable disease as the anti-vaccine movement gains strength.

Day 2 of this Big Beautiful Bill having been signed by the president and approved by the GOP of all levels.

ICE officials caught on camera using a public school campus and urinating in public. A crime for many others. But let's give them billions of extra dollars to "do their jobs".

Day 1 after Trump has signed his big beautiful bill - otherwise known at the Billionaire Bailout Bill

We will not forget everyone who pushed this through the Senate and the House. You have made your stand with these horrific policies and we will hold you accountable. History has it's eyes on you.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Fingers crossed that this sticks for researchers and that there is less chaos caused by illegal actions taken by this administration

BREAKING: A federal judge reversed National Institutes of Health's terminations of hundreds of critical research grants that were canceled because of their alleged connection to disfavored topics, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and gender identity.

This is a major win for public health.

Booker: "We have a president who did nothing as people stormed our Capitol, & then when those people who viciously beat police & led to some of their deaths - therefore cop killers - were convicted, he pardoned them. So for him to be talking about responsive law enforcement is hypocritical at best"

Another Karen Read Trial question - lawyers and judges - how common is it for prosecution to swear their own witness in, go through hours of testifying, and then do a voir dire of their own witness while they are still on the stand?

Have you ever seen this before, how often?
May 31, 2025 at 3:17 AM
A side quest from the Karen Read Trial - how many commonwealth cases are being delayed because the Commonwealth's appellate lawyer is sitting in the courtroom every single day of testimony.

How many other lives are affected by resources being diverted to the case?
May 30, 2025 at 11:22 PM
Question for lawyers here on Bluesky - how common is it for judges to have made up their mind on rulings before even listening to the arguments by the defense or prosecution? The Karen Read trial is wild where the judge is allowing prosecutor to elicit false testimony from witnesses on key details.

'Hos long to lose your career and ruin the reputation of your company?" 2 days. 2 days is the answer according to my observation of the live streamed testimony for the Common Wealth "experts" in the Karen Read Trial.

Why are we here? Seriously, why?
May 28, 2025 at 10:13 PM
Well we've been introduced to the latest "expert" from the prosecution of the Karen Read case. I couldn't think of a way this clown show could go further off the rails after the data expert was "currently pursuing" a bachelor degree for 17 years. But here we are.
May 27, 2025 at 11:40 PM
When you think you have seen everything from the livestreams of the Karen Read trial and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts keeps surprising you. This was the expert for the prosecution that was supposed to hold the smoking gun of new car data to put her behind bars.

🤣🤣🤣

I am out of touch with all things MCU these days but had fun at the theater today with Thunderbolts 🎥. I enjoyed being a DC Insider and a trip to the shadowrealm.

Technology can shine the light on things that remained hidden in the past. Following the Karen Read Trial for a second time really opened my eyes to how unjust the system can be. And the only reason we are seeing it with our own eyes is that a white woman was charged and has $$$ for a good defense.
