I hope that when the president has some mortal health event, people can turn their backs on this guy.
It doesn’t matter how loud the charming JD Vance yells Renee good was shoot in the face 3 times, the more Vance defends this murder the worse looks.

Let me repeat: 2025 was the worst year for job growth outside of a recession since 2003.

Trump's economic policy has been nothing short of a disaster since the start. How about instead of starting wars with foreign countries, we fix our problems here at home?

Who stands to make money from this change up?
From the Editorial Board: Gone is the grain-heavy emphasis that defined earlier guidance, and in its place is guidance to prioritize “whole, nutrient dense foods.”

AOC: ICE has less accountability than virtually any law enforcement agency in the U.S., yet they are some of the most well-funded, operating with impunity—and we just saw them murder an American citizen in cold blood in the street.

“Risks devolving into farce?” Is that irony or something?

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?

During Fiona Hill's testimony to Congress on Oct 14, 2019, she described how Trump and Putin discussed exchanging Ukraine for Venezuela. The quid pro quo was if Trump refuses to help Ukraine fight off a Russian invasion, Putin would not help Venezuela (a Russian ally) resist a US takeover.

So who was actually in on this decision?
Just awful: David Sanger, an experienced and knowledgeable correspondent for the NYT, is forthrightly describing this as an "American occupation." Done without any Congressional authorization or even any consultation with our key elected representatives.

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

China and Russia are one thing.

But what about the US and Canada and Mexico?
"By proceeding without any semblance of international legitimacy, valid legal authority or domestic endorsement, Mr. Trump risks providing justification for authoritarians in China, Russia and elsewhere who want to dominate their own neighbors."

Someone really wants to shift the focus off the Epstein files.
People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.
