That experience was my first time ever seeing just how toxic FPS fans could be in person (and that's coming from a Halo fan) and I wasn't a fan of being bullied for "not playing the right way".

Either way, I just don't want to support EA anymore with its new ownership. So, there's also that.

It also was the last Battlefield I bought because they never had a fun storyline after that. But, I remember just not wanting to be a part of the Battlefield community because nearly a dozen of its fans were toxic AF to me at the release and that was my only direct experience with that fandom.

I remember them looking at me like I was crazy. And then they started to get weird and make fun of me because they never actually played the story. Half of them hadn't even played the first game and was just picking it up for multiplayer only. I ended up just alone, by myself, the rest of the night.

I'm going to start by saying I adore Battlefield Bad Company. As someone who enjoys playing single player games, Bad Company was so good.

When the sequel was coming out, 2010, I went to the midnight launch at Gamestop. I was talking about the 1st game with some randos and gushed about the story.

Just finally got back my first card submission to CGC Cards. I had a lot of things just in long boxes that I needed to protect a bit, so my entire Gengar Collection got graded, as well as some really fun tidbits, like some Professors. Also, I graded eight of the ones that Walter Day did of me.

My wife came up with one. The Horse Girl.

As long as she has line of sight to any Knight, she can move like a queen. If she does not have line of sight of if all knights are off the board, she cannot move at all. Great as a one-shot attacker, but absolutely useless by endgame.

The worst thing about algorithm based social media is when I look away from my screen for 30 seconds and then it decides I'm madly in love with whatever was on the screen at the time and will show it to me nonstop.

I feel like I have to be ever vigilant to not spook or confuse the algorithm.
