The CDC’s mission was to protect and improve lives. When it starts echoing arguments used by anti-vaccine groups, something has gone terribly wrong. We must demand clarity, transparency, and a return to evidence-based messaging — for the health of the entire nation.

As federal health agencies begin shifting messaging on long-settled science — in service of ideology — the foundation of trusted public guidance crumbles. That has real-world consequences: lower vaccination, higher risk, more disease. We can’t afford that.
