The facility has become a de facto detention center, though it was never intended to be one. Protesters, often while trying to block ICE vehicles, have been met with numerous rounds of rubber pellets. A CST reporter saw at least 2 people arrested Friday morning.

BREAKING: Body camera footage obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times shows the scene after an ICE agent fatally shot Silverio Villegas González. The ICE agent said his injuries were "nothing major," video shows, but DHS reported the agent was “seriously injured.” trib.al/Utk0Szp
