There isn’t any law in this country that requires you to provide proof of citizenship on the interior, but unfortunately ICE is racially profiling.
And they don’t care if you say you’re a US citizen.
So where does this leave everyone? If you don’t look white, you’re in danger.

Mike Johnson likely won’t let a House vote to stop Trump’s tariffs. Perhaps House Republicans should file a motion to vacate the chair. A motion now requires at least nine party members to vote. It’s time for a functioning House or they can just wait until midterms when most of them will be replaced
