The Texas Legislature has mandated every peace officer to complete 16 hours of training from Texas State’s ALERRT center. It saddens me to say there was hardly a mention about prevention in the curriculum. Sounds like they’ve put the cart before the horse to me.

Hey Tom Homan, Unreasonable searches and seizures are prohibited, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, particularly describing the persons to be seized. So where did you get the idea that mere suspicion is justification for detention?
