If we eat more fish lower on the food chain like croaker, mackerel, and sardines (or invasive species) and are less apex predators like tuna and sharks, global food security would greatly increase along with the health of the oceans
Worldwide, currently about 2/3 of fisheries are either fully fished (not currently a problem but we shouldn't increase this) or underfished (room to expand the fishery). About 1/3 are overfished, which leads to population collapse. 🧪🦑🌎 🐟
