Not only is it the best Doctor Who ever, it's one of the finest things made at Television Centre. Pulling together everything the BBC could do well. No coincidence the staircase is the same one used in The Forsyte Saga! The Beeb had all this stuff on tap and then Birt sold the family silver.

Haven’t seen this in years and I had forgotten how good it is. There’s no other #DoctorWho like it. Ideas, dialogue, casting, performances, design, A1. The ingenious lighting of anything makes it a bit too dark in places, which is pretty unique.

Seriously, not only is it almost unbelievable that this even works, but it's doing full HD video with incredibly good image quality. It's also a royal PITA.
