Currently the BIGGEST issue I’ve seen are these though. Resellers of mass produced wholesalers take up valuable space and all they do BOT contribute to the fandom. Kick them the fuck out.
Temu/Alibaba/Amazon, or wherever else you bought those branded or more likely ripoff products in bulk - RESELLERS DO NOT BELONG AMONGST CREATIVES.
Now, I have feelings about reselling certain smaller items, like dice (I'm a dice-maker, it's personal) but I get it. I'm talking Resale ONLY Booths.

Start practicing with a ballpoint pen imo. You quickly learn to accept and even grow with your mistakes and it helps break away from higher quality supplies = better results.
Get an artistic project planned (small) and practice what you need to accomplish it.
