I guess the assumption behind the comment is that his staff thinks it's OK if Trump doesn't want to see this guy, they'll let the random guy go in and talk over anything the guy wants. Really? Or is Trump so confused that he doesn't know who people are when they see him in the oval office.

Trump is a strategic sociopath. This is his multi-plan attack playbook. 1) Bully: Exploit someone's problem for his benefit. Ironically, Trump has been convicted of fraud. 2)Hate: Market racism against people of color and use it as a wedge. 3)Retaliation: Get back at the guy who ran against him.

People are going to turn the channel, as we used to say. The reality is that CBS will be competing with Fox for their viewers as the public image of the validity of CBS news changes. And more of the public, who didn't grow up with the old TV stations, will easily seek alternative news sources.
