Panda, I hear you on this!! My husband died at age 59 - such a good and vibrant person. He made so many people smile and his random acts of kindness really made a difference. And yet, here we are.

Thank goodness that's over! I was rolling my eyes so much at work I strained something. My co-worked wasted HOURS on speculation and theories - all taken from podcasts by their favorite weirdos. UGH. I kept asking, Well, what does NASA say? What do REAL scientists say??

Costco Smoked turkey carcass was rendered into stock yesterday using pressure cooker. Today, the soup-making process will conclude and it will be portioned, sealed with vacuum sealer, and put in the freezer for the long winter ahead! WooHoo!!!

My mother was born and raised in Territorial Alaska (1940s) and was given the BCG vaccine. Her doctor was surprised to see her immunization records and asked if she was born Overseas. She did not travel out of Alaska at that time. Is it likely the territorial aspect that this was given?

Very cool. I hope the birds here like the improvements I've made - planted tall Oregon grape and Highbush Cranberry. The lush berry selection should please their little palettes. On a circle-of-life note, a pair of Ravens has moved in - 3 years!. Barred Owl at Feeder. Not sure he understands.
