Capitol Fax hinting at the toll being for Capitol projects. Glad to see some attention to that when this is the current map we’re working with. (Even with the Forest Park Branch being done as part of a different project)

Loving the new L stations that opened with the completion of Phase 1 of the Red/Purple Modernization project! Hoping to see continued investment in transit all across Chicago, starting with closing the fiscal cliff as soon as possible!

Yeah I am pretty sure now, don’t have a subscription so relying on the headline but that appears to be the case. And agreed, disappointed but not surprised.

This sentiment from the quoted Tribune article is a big reason why we are in this mess. Far too much focus on talking about how we want to build the boat (which is important!) and almost none until the last minute on how we’re gonna pay for the materials to build that boat.
