This isn’t who it would be if it wasn’t who it is. You gotta go down if you want to get up.

This is the Bluesky Edition of Chop. The OG Chop is still here - https://bsky.app/profile/chopaganda.shakedown.social.ap.brid.gy
Bought a tub of frozen Santiago's green chili at Walmart on Friday night and don't know why we don't do this more. Breakfast burritos yesterday, cheesy green chili eggs this morning, nachos for football.

It's not the GOAT green chili in Denver, but it's still so damn good. That is all.

21.5 inches of snow at Copper from the last storm. About fucking time.

Last year on this date, we had skied twice and most of the mountain was open.

This year we’re only 59% of our usual snowpack after 22 inches of fresh snow.

Skiing conditions so far have been more disappointing than jambands.

Last person in the office on a Friday, end-of-week annoyances keep popping up, out of healthy snacks, vending machines are broken, and the only edible substances I’ve found in the office besides coffee creamer are soy sauce and pancake syrup.

Shots?

I’d wear this one again in a heartbeat once my fat ass can squeeze back into it.

This is the love and light song that Trey has been trying to write for years.

Still so good.

This is secretly one of the best covers they do.

The guitar riff. The vocals. The driving drums. The way they can slide into and out of it.

I can’t imagine another vocalist in the jam scene taking this on and winning—except maybe JB because he’s a national treasure.

Not only is this a surefire way to get me to puke, but just imagine the flavor and texture of barfed up partially digested olives and almonds.

8.5 hours to kill on the flight home. Might as well check out the new MSG mix.

Love the audience coming in off the opening notes of Factory Fiction. What a call—Rick might as well have whipped his dick and a tape measure out.

Wow. Newcastle is available again in the UK!!!!!! Sadly, Lagunitas is still brewing their crap version in the U.S.

If you asked me to pick one beer—current or retired—to have for the rest of my life, I’m going with OG Newcastle before Heineken bought it.

Guinness in a hyper-friendly gay pub in Hackney (The Nelson)

<massive gap>

Guinness in a straight bar in the U.S.

(all about the creamy end)

Just sampled what might be the best burger I’ve ever had—served out of a brewery in a random neighborhood south of Hackney.

Two dry-aged patties, grilled onions, Korean umami bomb sauce and seasoning.

Reminds me of the OG Emmy burger with a double patty. cc @neddyo.shakedown.social.ap.brid.gy
