If you haven’t read The Reformatory you’re missing out on a beautiful and haunting piece of writing.
For other writers who are experiencing grief, my 2019 essay on how grief both stalled and fueled my writing on THE REFORMATORY.

This book took me 7 years to write. The 2020 COVID pandemic & fear that I might not finish it forced me to set up a daily page quota & chart.
