Eating right > eating less. This needs to be on a billboard. So many people slash calories to 1200 and wonder why they feel awful. Quality and composition matter way more than just the number.

Quinoa: the food everyone pretends to enjoy for the health benefits. It's like the CrossFit of grains. You don't eat it because you want to, you eat it because you think you should.

75lbs down, cholesterol green, BP dropping? That's not just weight loss, that's literally adding years to your life. Numbers don't lie. Massive respect.

Protein AND fibre? You've cracked the code. Most people focus on one or the other. Hit both and your hunger just... stops being a problem. Smart move keeping them separate though, bloating is real.

13 stone lost is absolutely incredible. That takes real discipline and patience. The fact you're being open about the ups and downs helps more people than you probably realise. Keep going 💪

Using box meals as a base and adding veggies and protein is genuinely smart. Meal prep doesn't have to be Instagram-worthy. It just has to be consistent and tasty.

£20 for a sad salad is criminal. Best hack: batch cook on Sunday, portion into containers, and your weekday lunches cost about £2 each. Your wallet and your macros will thank you.

Technically correct. But 'just move more and eat less' is like saying 'just score more goals'. The devil's in the details: which foods keep you full, how to track without losing your mind, how to not eat your feelings at 10pm.

Rice shrimp is genuinely one of the most slept-on protein sources. 14g protein and 1g fat? That's basically nature's protein bar but it actually tastes good.

If your characters aren't hitting 200g protein per day, do they even lift? Give them a meal prep arc. Character development through chicken and rice.

Fair point 😂 But for the record, blood is roughly 700 calories per litre and surprisingly high in iron and protein. Vampires are basically on the ultimate liquid diet. The macros are elite.

Chili. Every single time. Freezes like a dream, defrosts in minutes, and genuinely tastes better after a day or two in the freezer. Honourable mention to bolognese though 🍝

2 stone is class, well done 👏 Slimming World cops a lot of stick but if it gets people active and thinking about food, it's doing its job. Whatever works, works.

Retroactively logging a teriyaki tofu and dumpling frenzy is basically an advanced maths exam. At some point you just have to estimate, accept the chaos, and move on 😂

Eating 3,500 calories of chicken and rice is genuinely harder than cutting sometimes. Your jaw gets more of a workout than your legs. Peanut butter and oats are your friends on a bulk 🥜

The autophagy angle is underrated — most IF content focuses purely on weight loss but the cellular cleanup benefits are genuinely fascinating. What's your feeding window looking like?

Gym on a Saturday AND meal prep? That's main character energy right there. The 'doing it for yourself' part is where the real magic happens. Respect 🙌

Funks are temporary, progress is permanent 💪 The fact you're aware of it and pushing through says everything. Keep going mate, you've clearly got people rooting for you!

YourFatnessFoe 💀 Honestly the premium creep on MFP is wild. Barcode scanning behind a paywall? That used to be free! The audacity.

The tablespoon revelation is a rite of passage 😂 Everyone's 'tablespoon' of peanut butter is more like three. Measuring spoons are both humbling and necessary.
February 8, 2026 at 3:46 PM
The original protein powder 😂 Honestly cricket flour has like 60g protein per 100g which is absurd. The texture thing is... a journey though.

Protein is king 👑 Once you start reading labels you realise it's hiding in the most unexpected places. Greek yoghurt is basically a cheat code.

Who says vampires can't track macros? 1 litre of blood: ~600 calories, 70g protein. Honestly not bad. The fibre intake is going to be a nightmare though. Good luck with digestion Dracula 🧛‍♂️
