Mostly true. But consider that there is an under-served market of families who want to live in family-friendly urban apartments, not single-family car-oriented homes. We just don't build that at all in North America.

Sounds great, but not great branding. "Feminism" as a brand has a lot of baggage that turns many people away, even if they would agree with the substance.

The only problem is that if the rest of the Five Eyes start excluding the U.S., we'd be the Four Eyes, which doesn't sound cool at all.

Every profession, to a good approximation, can best be understood as acting to increase the power of that profession. Planners want what's good for planners, which is (a) lots of municipal tax revenue available to pay planners, and (b) lots of red tape, which makes work for planners.

I would've thought that with everything that's been happening the last few years, the lesson we should have learned is to gather the proper evidence before coming to a conclusion.

I don't really know what you're talking about. The only data I'm seeing is a photo of two POCs and the statement that "all" the POCs were let go. I'm not jumping to conclusions, but I didn't choose that photo.

It's not racist if it's...not based on race. The one white person being the best out of three doesn't even qualify as a coincidence. The ten white people being the best out of 20 is winning the racist lottery.

Is vehicle weight, independent of size, a factor in pedestrian deaths? My intuition is no. Any car has effectively infinite momentum compared to a pedestrian. As long as there is no difference to braking ability, weight shouldn't matter. (Different story for car-on-car collisions though.)
