OPUS: Prism Peak Demo is climbing the charts in the Asian markets but it was also really fun to see the new SpongeBob game by Purple Lamp Studios/THQ Nordic (where some of my former Sproing colleagues are at) at the top.

Been testing the new Nikon ZF firmware 2.0 with improved bird detection.
I just noticed that this bird was carrying a baby bird... got me wondering, is it its own (dead) baby or did the bird snatch another bird's?

Maybe it's just me but I do think ad designers should maybe take into account how the thing the ad is on looks like in detail.
Like where all the turn signals are and so on.

Hm, unlike selling things like tablets, selling cameras and lenses doesn't seem so easy in Taiwan. Maybe wrong channel (I posted in several Taipei 2nd hand groups on FB marketplace). Nobody wants my almost-pristine Nikon Z6 full frame camera body with (optional) 24-50mm lens.

So, I've been using a debit card ever since I started working in Taiwan. It used to work just like a credit card, could also use it to purchase things online.

I'm really bad at handling change, and now in my 10th year in Taiwan stuff around me is starting to change, like the pet store nearby closing down in a month because of redevelopment projects. That store had been there for decades and I have a lot of memories shopping there.

Genuinely interested what all those people who couldn't bring themselves to vote for Harris because of Gaza are thinking about Trump wanting to "relocate" all Gazans somewhere else and to "level" Gaza to develop it (into a resort I assume). Happy with their choice?

Now that I got my APRC, seriously pondering if I should apply to reinstate my Taiwan citizenship.
Only problem is, need to deal somehow with the fact that Austria normally does not allow dual citizenships, exceptions notwithstanding. I need to become an exception.

After 9 years living in Taiwan, I think I am unfit to return to Austria. I feel cold, despite it not being all that cold in terms of temperatur. I probably could not survive an Austrian winter anymore.
