Always weird for me when people argue against something by using another example, but if the first issue weren't there they wouldn't even care about the latter.
Similar to how conservatives say "think of the children!" when they're against something but normally don't care at all about them.

I know of the other one, where you can feed fish, but I didn't know there was one on this side as well. Good photo spot!

Oh wait, is the JN1 vaccine available for everyone now? I thought it was only for elderly people (65 and up). If so, that's great!

It's funny how verbatim the vocabulary already is between the PRC and the KMT... "Green Terror" and the accusations of authoritarianism. Even more ironic coming from the PRC.

I think it also matters WHICH kind of cars. Taiwanese like SUVs, and there's also occasionally people with pickup trucks. Probably US influence.
In Japan, there's a high prevalence of smaller, more efficient cars, that are more practical for narrower roads and back alleys.

Wish Taiwan would more learn from the kei car culture of Japan, smaller, more efficient and better suited cars for narrower denser cities, not huge honking SUVs and even sometimes pickup trucks. WTF are you gonna do with that in that little back alley.

Considering the masses of cars, esp SUVs, that move around (also extremely annoyingly, because Taiwan is really cramped, it's not like the US), I would say there's way too many cars, but also still a ton of scooters as well.

What fascinates me about abandoned places like this is that I wish I could see how those buildings looked like when they were still inhabited.

Because scooter parking is cheaper and more convenient. I don't drive a scooter but I'm always envious, scooter drivers always find somewhere to park, and in many parking spaces it's even free.
It's nothing to do with living standards.

I remember MAGA sh1theads who were saying stuff like, "It's just for demonstrating what the symbols mean, only stupid people would think the letters are actually tattooed on his hand", and then Trump goes and says "the letters are actually tattooed on his hand".

4-6months? Should be more, or at least in addition to some hefty fines.
