This one... I can't do even a straight fifteen minutes of work without him stepping all over my keyboard and rubbing his face into mine. He goes "PRRU??" over and over. He wants to play EVERY minute. He will NOT nap.

But the real problem is... how can I say 'no' to this little ball of bouncy fuzz?

Movie Night! We watched 'Pontypool' (2008) and enjoyed it a LOT.
Its take on the zombie genre should be far too silly for my taste, but packaging it in a Twin Peaks-esque mix of gruesome horror and funny surrealness makes it work so well. Unsettling AND hilarious, often at the same time.

One of my favorite (and funniest) scenes in RED VECTOR #3 is where Lord Commander Perric punishes an officer on his battle station, but because he lacks anything resembling 'The Force', he has to just choke him like a regular joe.

With his hands.

It takes him three (!) pages to finish the job 😅

I can tell the new IT show is by the same folks that did the new IT movies, because I have the exact same problem with it; where the character stuff seems to keep building towards becoming actually pretty good, but then here comes a LOUD!!! and FRANTIC!!! horror bit where the monster SHOUTS!!!

We'll be attempting to re-introduce our weekly movie nights by starting with our three favorite episodes of 'Jim Henson's The Storyteller'.

These will be 'The Soldier and Death' (obviously), 'The Luck Child' and... a third one.

Me, generally disliking del Toro aesthetic (although liking him a lot as an art ambassador), but also a HUGE fan of Berni Wrightson art, reading that del Toro's latest drew much of his inspiration from Wrightson's 'Frankenstein':

John Wick used the JW4 TTI Pit Viper once in JW4, which I imagined was likely the main reason Hemi wanted one, too.
October 24, 2025 at 2:53 PM
I felt one of the most important things about Hemi's design would be his choice of firearm, so I decided to go on a quest for the absolute douchiest looking handgun (besides the obvious Desert Eagle).

I landed on the JW4 TTI Pit Viper, which looks like a silly 80s toy and costs $7,499.99 #RedVector

Dropping some markers on hat-tipping Nicole R. Haught from Wynonna Earp.

Never thought I'd ever say these words, BUT

I agree he's a real piece of $#!% and he sucks and I enjoyed making him cry 😄

I was actually heading into a major depressive episode triggered by delayed grief when I started on RED VECTOR #3.

It's super weird how this is also when I delivered some of the most kinetic, chaotically fun bunch of comic pages in my career.

Also dropping markers on Dutch independent filmmaker Joshua van 't Hoff.

Just an ungodly thing in a local toy store.

Started watching 'Jojimbo' (1961) for the first time (it's one of those classics that has somehow always evaded me) and had to take a break just to process how outrageously cool and beautiful Masaru Satô's opening music is.

I think I need to fully prepare myself for quite a treat.
