Job done. These Isle of May Puffins have completed the job of raising a chick and now they look to leave. It won’t be long before they leave the island and won’t return until next March!

Today, 3 of our children went to open the new local Sainsburys shop. Joseph won the design competition and his design was printed on to bags which the children gave out to customers on their way in. They all did a super job! 😀

The UK's oldest known White-tailed Eagle, a female named Frisa, has died at the age of 32, RSPB Scotland has confirmed:

Frisa, the UK's oldest White-tailed Eagle, has died aged 32, RSPB Scotland has confirmed. Hatched on Mull in 1992, she raised 25 chicks and became a TV favourite. Her long-time mate Skye, now 31, is the UK's oldest surviving wild eagle and has since paired with a younger female.
