From the California condor to the Egyptian vulture to the griffon vulture to the bearded vulture - no matter where you see a vulture, they are important and we need to say thanks and let’s stop using lead bullets and poison, okay?

A little ode to the vulture family for #InternationalVultureAwarenessday. Vultures tend to be misunderstood - but they are the clean up crew of our world - and they have amazing skills. Some eat bone, some can smell dead meat miles away and unfortunately, many of them are endangered.

Grab a sketchbook, some kind of mark making tool (pen,pencil,etc) and get started! Doing is the first step to learning once you start, you’ll be able to draw on cliffs in no time. Just don’t look down.

Look out for pufflings!🚨

In July & August, confused & bewildered pufflings sometimes turn up in unusual places. They fledge at night & often become disorientated by bright lights, heading towards them rather than out to sea!🌊
