Before my truck platoon went to Afghanistan, a small, unassuming sergeant warned them to be ready to enact violence—that when you’re past the wire, rules of engagement stopped applying.
“Keep driving no matter what”.

I know, but we were month-to-month after the lease from our previous landlord expired earlier this year. So these new landlords are giving us their actual rental terms here.
We think this was a case of deed theft from at least one buyer ago but there isn’t much we can do

Most of us did not choose to write or draw or design so that we could put products on the shelf. We chose to do it because it’s a set of skills we enjoy exercising, that give us fulfillment.
