The only thing that makes me think something may come of it is it’s only been a couple years since the Díaz at Spurs incident. They promised after that to improve, and it simply has not happened.

He was still at the scene of both crimes, as it were. He also was sent to the VAR screen to review the penalty incident and didn’t have the spine to say it was soft as baby shit. He’s a horrendously weak if not corrupt ref.

I do believe it can be attributed to pure incompetence, but to entirely rule out the possibility of corruption is naive imo
